Okay, well, I've been trying to CG this character I drew.
There's 4 layers thus far. (Starting from bottom layer to top)
Layer 1 - Background (White) - Is furthest back Layer 2 - Lineart Layer 3 - Kimono Base Color Layer 4 - Obi Base Color
Now, I make a 5th layer to go color her hair in it's base color, but when I try to color it will only color on the Obi layer. WTF did I do? o_o; And how do I fix it? ><;;

Did you select your new layer before you started coloring? It happens.

Yeah, I did. I even made more new layers just to see if that would work. In the end, it didn't. I just saved my PSD and closed out Photoshop, then restarted it up again. It seemed to work after that...for now. >>

I'm positive that that was the first thing she did. If it wasn't, then she wouldn't be getting what she wanted.

OMG I'm so sorry, didn't see that the topic was so old.... Thought it was recent cause it was on the first page.....
----------------------
Photoshop's known to be weird sometimes. Usually resterting fixes everything, and it<s sometimes the only solution.
This other day I wasn't able to use the brush system (brushes, smudge, eraser, etc).
So it might because the .tmp files became too big and Photoshop was open too long....

Mm. I don't think so. I usually leave Photoshop open for weeks and it never gives me trouble such as that.
