Roleplay Rules - New

Greetings! Seems this area of SMB hasn't been touched in quite some time. I'm taking the opportunity to revamp some rules here.

Please be sure to abide by these terms and conditions when you create and participate in a roleplay. Failure to comply will result in a two warnings before a more aggressive measure is taken.

- SakuraMB has a rating system for a reason. Please utilize this when posting up your roleplay, so people know what to expect.

- NC-17 ratings are reserved for other discussions on the board- there is no pornographic material permitted in the roleplay section.

- Please make sure you keep your story in the appropriate section. Anime/Manga/Movie/TV-Show based roleplays currently belong in "Storytelling." Kingdom Hearts under Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy under Final Fantasy...you get the idea. Roleplays of original origin (as in, you made up the story yourself) goes underneath "Stories."

- To register for a character, simply contact the person running the roleplay. They are to run their roleplay at their own discretion- as in if they want to reserve roles or hold in-character events, they may do so.

- By "discretion", I do also mean that creators of a roleplay are the ones to deem it's rating. If they say there is no swearing, then you don't swear. No violence? No violence. Get it? Got it? Mmmgood.

- There are no "private roleplays" on the boards at the moment. Private roleplays can currently be carried out via PMs or other means outside of SMB. ... Which in that case, these rules don't totally matter, do they? =D;

- Do not post threads in the Battle Royale forum. If you are interested in participating in a current or upcoming tournament, please contact me (Clockwork) for more information.

Admittedly, a lot of rules aren't generally needed here. I have faith in you, the members of Sakura, to remain on your best behavior while playing in this area. Mkay? However, please do not mistake my kindness for weakness. I will eat you whole. :I That is all.
