Nah, that's only fighting hatred with more hatred, and that won't get us anything but too much trouble. Besides, I'm Catholic, and that means no killing for me. They kinda hate me as it is; I'd hate for them to have even more reasons to.

Neh, I've been reading about them recently. Targum's all abuzz about this thing they're doing. Frankly I think they're idiots and don't quite care enough. If they're still there when I'm nearby (you know... NOT 9am in the morning) I'll give them the middle finger or something. Otherwise they're just not that important enough for me to care about. But if you're off to protest them, I wish you luck. Speaking of which, you still need to call me about the tabletop RP thing or at least let us know if you're too busy this semester. Anyway, I'll let you know if I think of any ideas for your protest. Maybe you can make signs and carry them around yourself?

Y'know, Chad, I think you and I agree on this point. These people are just simply too stupid and ignorant to listen to anyone but their own damn selves. Counter-protesting will do nothing to enlighten these morons.

Believe it or not, the more attention they've gotten, with more peaceful reactions and counter protests, the smaller they've gotten. They only have about half the members they used to in the late 90s early 2000s.

And Chad, I hate to say that at this rate I may be getting too busy, but I think I might just have to say that. Keep me posted anyway, maybe by some strange miracle I won't be!

I ****ing hate them. They actually protested the return of a unit here where I live. I live on a USMC base, and I was so disgusted by them. I seriously wanted to run them over. I've witnessed 4 of their protests and each time I just want to explode. I'm a HUGE supporter of the military...my husband being a Marine and those people are sick and twisted evil people.

Sick yes, twisted yes, but also? Kinda pathetic if you ask me... Do they really have nothing better to do than go around the country getting people to hate them? Have they honestly so little to do in their lives? I mean all they really have is their opinion and that only matters as much as you let it. I just can't bring myself to care too much about them one way or the other.

They'll sue you if you do. The have a habit of doing that. Trust me, everyone on campus is really pushing the peaceful, unoffensive stuff, because that's one of the ways WBC makes money: sue anyone who gives them the slightest form of grief. And horribly enough, they have won.

So WBC only lasted about 20 minutes... We celebrated diversity in this huge rally that showed we didn't agree with their hating at all to the point the crowds in support of Hillel were too big for them to protest in front of it, or across the street from it. They left in the middle of LTC singing "Seasons of Love" (since LTC's first big show this year is RENT, and WBC HATES RENT)
