Holy Necrobump Tongue

CCCP is not a pack you would want to use, in my experience, it cause's far more problems than actually fixes. If you haven't had issues, your merely lucky. Though I do not believe VLC is part of CCCP, instead, I think the idiots who make VLC recommend you use CCCP. If you do, be prepared to hunt down useless and out of date codecs and such.... most people who I've seen who have problems with their games only started having those problems after they install the CCC pack.

Also, spell checking time!

well all of them have their pros n cons.

VLC, I sometimes have issues with the subs being cut off if the lines are too long, or subs over subs that rarely happens though

CCCP, I sometimes have game issues, not all the time but it's fixable.

Zoom Player, the only issue I have is u have know option to turn on or off the language & subtitles. If it has subs it's automatically turned on, if it has dual audio it will only play the 1st available and cant switch. So if its dubbed and you want to switch it to japanese audio (or vice versa) you're kinda screwed there.

All in all they're all fine, I use all 3 actually.

Ah, same here. Actually, I use 5. ^^;; Between windows and linux, I use VLC, CCCP, GXine, Zoomplayer and Mplayer. Other than VLC, MPlayer is probably my favorite, but I also like the ability to design my own media player interfaces, so mplayer is very nice for that.

Still though, I really only use VLC and MPlayer. Vlc you can get in both linux and windows, so I probably use it the most.
