This anime was rated high (if not the top place) of things that sound way less interesting than they actually are.
TTGL isn't something that you can really describe. It's something that must be watched so you can decide for yourself. Explaining the series really does not give you the full feel of it. >< You really do just need to watch the first couple of episodes before you can say you don't like it or not.

Yeah... one of the reasons it took me so long to see this is because I had actually heard it described by others. Oh, and I got to episode 8.... That took GUTS, it really did. And they actually managed to pull it off even! However, seeing as how this show seems to have a touch of dragon ball syndrom, I suspect that it actually won't last forever. Especially what with in episode one where they were talking about tearing a hole through reality to defeat their enemies.
Oh, and Half? Having seen this series... Simon suites you ^.^

Oh god, I always wanted to smack Attenborough for being such an idiot. I don't think he knew how to do anything but hit that button. Actually I remember being kind of irked at a lot of the people that would make Leeron have to sigh and say things like "Fighting spirit powers them." and "Love changes the world." So I guess I would make a pretty good Rossiu after all. You know, without the whole 'stick up my butt' thing (or at the very least a smaller stick). I think the biggest difference between him and me is that despite thinking the rest of everyone (Leeron, Yoko, that mechanic lady, and maybe a few others excepted) are idiotic morons, I'd hold a little more faith in you guys. Even if only for genre-savvy reasons.
