So...myself and Rose each did our own movie for the Campus Movie Fest, since it recently decided to have Rutgers participate. My movie, "Justice," follows two detectives hunting down a killer called The Justice. It can be found below:

Justice

Rose made two movies, one comedy and one drama. If she sees this topic, I'm sure she'll post her movies on her own. On a positive note, Rose's drama, so to speak, was one of the top 16 movies, while mine was only in the Best of the Rest category.

On another note, I had a few ideas and wanted to know if I could get feedback on them.

- The Time Divers: Two Time Divers are caught in an epic fight. One wants to change the past in order to save lives, while the other wants to preserve the natural time order and prevent any sort of time paradoxes. I plan for it to be sort of like a dark tokusatsu short where each Time Diver uses a device disguised as a cell phone to teleport their armor and weapons from various time periods, not to mention their method of traveling through the time stream.

- Revolution: A war has lasted for decades between two nations, one of which is openly totalitarian, while the other is falsely democratic and also secretly totalitarian. This short and other future shorts would cover the stories of various individuals, from rebel fighters and soldiers to actual civilians, as they are drawn into the war and their struggles to survive.

i think your second idea has a lot of potential. You can even tie the stories together and intertwine each person's tale.  It has a lot of ability to work themes about war and suffering in, especially if you fofcus on different age groups and areas of the world instead of just one part of the world.

I think your first one is okay, but it might need a little work.  Why teleport items from other decades when technically, some of those items exist today and can be made today?  And wouldn't it make more sense to go back in time to an era where those items were actually used?  So this one needs explanation as to why you are using those items and what world needs items like those brought across time periods. Your setting and your character motives and the plot are essential to making this work and not just sounding like an altered combination of Dr. Who and The Time Machine (if you have read any of those, Dr. Who travels between time periods a lot and brings items back to the present with him, and the Time Machine is about people traveling through time).
