I also have to swipe my ID twice and enter a door code on a combo lock to get into my room.  Our elevators also have cameras.

All we have are some half assed entrance guards that swipe you in. Sometimes. Also locks. We have locks. -_-;

The first card swipe is the door to get into your building. You can easily get people through that. Second card swipe is to get into your suite. The door code lock is for your room in your suite.  The cameras are there for monitoring people once inside and aren't watched unless there's a specific problem they're looking for.

Emi, think of it this way. The lack of cameras is also a blessing. Rally a group of people that feel the same way, but make sure you keep it on the dl. Only takes 1 or 2 people to do this. It'll be easy for two people just to hang out around the dorms and listen in on conversations and keep a lookout for her. If you catch the person, reporting him/her won't do any good unless you find a way of recording a new offense. You could go that route or leave it to them to teach the **** a lesson. Lack of cameras mean you can cause a MAJOR shit storm for him or her.

I am generally a fan of letting official people take care of things.  In the meantime, we're all just going to be wary and such.  Lauren went home this weekend, and I think moved rooms by now, so I'm not sure if something's gonna happen again or not.

In other news, facebook has this silly valentine app, right?  I decided to see who I got, more cause I was curious how it would go about choosing our valentines.  Because, here I thought there was going to be a silly survey/quiz thing or something, but alas, all it does is make you wait a minute or two and then it gives you a list of five names.

My names were, in order, Shane, Andrew, Justin, Ian, and Jeremy.

Now, I am intensely curious as to how this app chooses its names.  Cause, I don't think it's just randomized, cause out of all the guys on facebook, random would most likely not come up with four of my best guy friends from highschool, two of which I had romantic drama with on my end, one of which I had mild romantic thoughts about that never went anywhere, and one of which had romantic thoughts towards me.  However, I can't for the life of me come up with where on facebook this information would be attainable.  I don't even think I've ever interacted with Jeremy via facebook.  The closest I get are PM threads that a lot of highschool friends are all a part of - we use them for planning parties and stuff when people are in town.  So maybe that's it - maybe the app knows we all PM each other?  lol creepy.

But that still doesn't explain Shane.  Shane I have honest-to-god never interacted with on facebook, short of accepting a friend request.  Also, Shane is listed as gay, which I find it lulzy that the app would give me a gay guy for my number one valentine.  So I would call silly bullshit on the app, except for the fact that, despite being listed as gay and being one of the most flamey little homosexuals you ever did know, Shane told me he had a crush on me back the summer before college.

So I'm all sill-ily weirded out by how facebook suddenly seems telepathic lol.  More, I just am really curious how the app chooses names, cause I feel like there must be some facet of facebook interaction that I'm just forgetting about or something xD

I took a look at that app as well as another app made by the same people. The other app told you who you had the most pictures where the two of you were both tagged. Looking at THAT list and comparing it to the Valentine's app, I think it is the people who you have the most picture that you are tagged together in it of the OPPOSITE gender.

AHAAA!  OMG THAT MAKES PERFECT SENSE YAAAY!  lol thanks!  I like it when things make sense ^^  Cause, Yeah, Shane was in Litle Shop of Horrors with me, and we had every scene together, and Claire took like a million photographs of the play lol.  okay, Emily's mind is now at peace again xD

Glad to be of service. All five of the people in my list were from my group for Prom. Which is one of the reasons I thought about that.

My first thought was friends in common, but the list didn't go in order. Then I checked for their app with pictures.

OMG!  GUYZ!  I HAD SUCH AN AWSUM DREAM!!!!

Liek, okay, it started out kinda weird, cause I dreamt that this guy I didn't know was hanging out in my house, and he was really uncomfortable/awkward, but I soon ignored him and just went to check my email.

And I saw an email from Chad, and it just said "Everyone's at Brie's!"  and I emailed back all "ASDF!!11!;  YOU GUYZ SHOULD COME VISIT MEEEE OMG!"  and then like magic Chad and Roy and Brie and Aubrey and Matt and Corey and Rae all magically showed up in my dorm room lol and it was TEH AWSUM.

And then I woke up at you guys weren't there, and I was all sad xD lol
