Okay, so for choir there's this one song we're singing from Randall Thompson's Frostiana, "Choose Something Like a Star" which uses the text of Robert Frost's poem "Choose Something Like a Star" IT IS GORGEOUS. And the music really captures all the tension and meaning of the words. Frost was at the premiere for this song, and when it ended, he stood up in the audience and said "SING IT AGAIN!!!" and basically said after hearing Frostiana, he wouldn't allow anything else of his be put to music, because of how perfectly Frostiana was composed. Check it out! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NaZPc9hURNI&feature=related

The Times, They are a'Changin. This is the song that is played during the opening credits of Watchmen. It happens during this montage of history flying by from world war two to the modern day in an alternate history where (among other things) Nixon gets elected for a third term. And I don't know if I've mentioned this one yet, but also Let's See How Far We've Come. Both those songs bring me close to tears.
