This band played at the anime convention as my school and I can't stop listening to their music now. There isn't a lot out, but that's okay, they're still awesome.

They take (generally) old video game soundtracks and turn them into heavy rock (most, anyway. There's a section of a Zelda song that's rather jazzy). They've down some Super Metroid, Megaman 3, Final Fantasy VII, Zelda, Techmo Super Bowl, some Mario and Ghost Busters.

There's also a radio interview with two of the members recorded on their webpage (www.armcannon.com). They have one album out labeled Leg Vacuum (I can't get over the irony of the album title) and a second one close to completion but still untitled.

....did I mention I'm absolutely in love with this band?

This is both awesome and frustrating at the same time. On the one hand the music is just really good and I want to hear more. But on the other hand, these guys aren't nearly mainstream enough for me to not feel bad about just getting their music for free. And I KNOW that if I have to pay I just won't end up ever getting them with an infinite loop of "This costs money. I should go do something else to entertain myself that doesn't." *action of doing something else, come back to this band* (repeat).
